Arcane questions/thoughts

So now that I've popped over to arcane I'm curious about the ideal timing for my cool downs. None of them share the same cool down timer and are on relatively short cool downs. My thoughts have been to basically just pop them early and frequently and try to time a set of AP+IV during a BL if at all possible, either way during BL i go into an abspam/mbam with no consideration of Abar for the duration unless mana is extremely tight.

I've also seen a lot of talk of people claiming they are using an abspam/mbam rotation all the time, seems near impossible when you can go like 15 ab's without a proc sometimes. Wondering if anyone's dug up more info on that?

So I've swapped my mage over to Arcane and am seeing great results thus far.  What did you end up finding for your cooldown rotation and doing AM w/o MB procs?

Also, I wouldnt mind some feedback on where I should be focusing for my gear at this point.  I'm no raider so my frosts are at a premium and my availability of 10 man gear is limited to PuG's for the moment but I know I need a new trinket and I'm not sure what to go with.

I'm basically 232+ everywhere but 1 trink and my bracer.  I'm saving up mats for the bejeweled wizard's bracer (i think that's what it's called) while running H HoR ad nauseum for the drop from there (name escaping me atm).

I always use RAWR with a little common sense to figure out my gear.

I find the optimal CD rotation to be to pop everything at the start and then pretty much hit them again as they come up. That being said I'm more interested in killing the boss than doing 100% maximum DPS so I will sometimes hold CDs for burn segments.

If AB fishing is going poorly and your endangering your mana pool unhasted AM is the way to clear the stack

If possible try to evocation only on the last second of a haste buff like IV or BL (or when you get it even 2pc t10 works), you get the haste buff for the entire evocation for the cost of 1 second of the buff.
