Hiya, I play an Unholy DK over on Deathwing, MT often for my guild. We finally got around to downing 3 drakes this week, I've tanked all previous attempts. Though I'd throw some advice in:
I used this spec:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jbEMRc0cZhxbzZfghhh0oGe0o0oNow feel free to move some points around, but basically, this will help give you as much stam/exp as possible, as well as more survivability thanks to Rune Tap, Lichborne, AMZ/Talented AMS, and BS.
Now as for gear
http://armorylite.com/us/Deathwing/RegurgitateI sit at about 30.1k unbuffed. Before the new sigil procs (I recommend wearing that), I have 551 defense, which definitely helps IBF. I leveled JC for this, picking up the Crab trinket and sticking 41 stam gems in there. I also crafted the FrR chest, and put stam gems in there, but made sure I stayed at 540~ def. This was a huge boost of stamina, netting me 34k+ unbuffed. (I used Gossamers as my other trinket, but I think next time I will use the dodge trinket - I sit with 27% dodge with it on)
I used the 2% spell reduction meta gem as well.
I recommend the new runeforge to help.
After buffs, before commanding shout I had 45.2k hp. 34k hp when the debuffs were applied.
For rotation, I recommend this:
Don't worry about the 1st drake, but as the 2nd drake is about to come, refresh BS > then hit Lichborne
when LB is down and/or your BS charges are getting low, hit an avoidance trinket if you have it. (Remember, you can heal yourself with DC during Lichborne, don't hesitate to do this)
As the 3rd drake comes, hit AMZ - you want to blow this 2 min one early so it will be up sooner. > AMS the next breath > IBF the next > refresh BS > AMS when you can > hit LB when you can, as his melee will be hitting harder.
(Glyph of Bone Shield is a must for this)
Rune Tap whenever your health dips even a little. You never know when you may take a 19k+ FB and 9-11k melee hit back to back.
For me, I kept hitting my crab (300 dodge) and used the new fire res. pot before the 3rd drake hit, and then sometime into the fight I used it again.
Now, in addition to this rotation, you should probably have your healers putting cooldowns on you first. I'd recommend at least one priest with Pain Suppression, another with Guardian Spirit. It's actually best to use GS right after the 3rd drake lands, as thats when you notice the breaths can 1 shot you. We also used Paladins rotating Divine Sacrifice and Sanc on me.
I don't think you need to min max as much as I did, so the 40k pool is acceptable, but try and get as much as you can without gimping stats. Of course if you have more than 2 priests or holy paladins, it may even be easier.
Just get a feel for how long between breaths, and call for the right cooldowns, and then use your own for each. Let me know if you have any questions... good luck!
