Props to Arazu for introducing this spec. At least from what I've seen he did.

Okay, so I got used to this spec, and Hymn i'm pretty sure you're right. I'm sure as hell pumping more damage then the traditional 0/32/39 spec. Granted the AoE in this spec is a tad bit weaker, but I can tell my single target damage has gone up.

For those who are still new to this, I think this is the general consensus

Spec: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jZG0eb0xZf0hdxckxcq0sRht

There may be some descrepncies, particularly because of my points in Outbreak, and epidemic. However in an optimal raid situation, (with 330 roughly) you should be at 12% spell hit. Add a 1% draenei and a 3% Imp FF or Spriest debuff and you're already capped on spell hit. But if you dont' carry any of those then I suggest using this spec. This spec revolves around the spam of Icy Touch, but the rotation is quite solid on what to cast in order to keep up optimal DPS. Army of the Dead is highly advised during the fight to create more DPS, as well as a Gargoyle (I pop mine when I pop my Strength pot during hero).

Consumables: I personally use an Elixir of Mighty Strength, a flask could be used if wanted to and a Dragonfin Filet. Now there's discussion on whether haste pot > Strength pot, but i'm not so sure if it could be adequately measured. Considering if crusader procs during heroism when I have the pot up (and it usually does), not to mention it adds to my gargoyle's and Ghoul's damage.

Rotation: PS-IT-BS-UB-IT-PS-BS-DC-PS-IT-IT-DC-IT-IT
Rinse and Repeat

Weapons of Choice seems to be fast/fast for more BCBprocs than Slow/fast. With Last Laugh/Hailstorm giving me the highest DPS over a 6min span. ( I tested Silent Crusader/Last Laugh, Last Laugh/Widow's Fury, Widow's Fury/Hailstorm, Hailstorm/Widow's Fury, and lastly Last Laugh/Hailstorm.)

WWS parse with this spec (I fucked up at 50% when I popped hero, and our tanks fucked up pre pull. So dps had to wait about 20 seconds before we could jump back onto patchwerk. Which would have granted me 6k dps).

I'll add to this later, but I would love to see some discussion regarding this spec.

Last I checked necrosis wasn't a proc so regardless of weapon it will be the same dps as long as the two weapons have matching dps. It will however, affect BCB.

On your rotation

Rotation: PS-IT-BS-UB-IT-PS-BS-DC-PS-IT-IT-DC-IT-IT

Are you refreshing Unholy Blight when you can or just using it the once and calling it quits. At least when I tested it on the dummy I didn't use DC at all hardly and just refreshed UB as the dump inbetween Icy Touch spams and got around the same dps or slightly better(100 or so dps) than using DC.

I don't see how the first spec you posted is general consensus, the points in dirge are a waste, as well as Icy Reach being debatable.  Your second spec is closer to what i see as the consensus.  I have a desecration-less spec I use which puts out good numbers, I'll post it up later when I get home.

I would have to agree that the points into dirge are a waste. With your Icy touch glyph you should be able to pull in enough runic power and the points would be be used in other places.

mhh what about that variation?
i have to deal with gargoyle cause it brackes the rotation and didnt realy push the dps that far anymore
also this variation will push plague strike to the limit all of the time

Did pretty good on Patchwerk last night but i have to say i totally fucked up the rotation.
After a few seconds i was just hitting IT whenever it was ready. No rotation anymore just pure chaos.

But i really like the spec.

I was thinking about trying this spec.
* Bladed Armor would give me another 200 AP.
* Outbrake cause i do have to use PS to keep Desecration up.
* I don't like UB as RP dump. Dunno why exactly but i prefer DC.
* KM gave me ~7 PPM at Patchwerk, not sure if it's worth it

Like Kayoz, I tried this spec last night.  It was very interesting.  In terms of overall damage in Naxx25, I was #1.  I didnt think this was going to be the case without howling blast, but the combination of 3 disease Pest/BB, Unholy Blight seems to close the gap.  Also, the IT spam was pretty good.  The only thing is that as Kayoz said, it's not really a rotation as much as it is priority IT with refreshing UB and keeping PS up.  The one thing that was tough was to fit a DC in while trying to unload all your ITs and refreshing PS while also making sure you're converting Blood runes at every opportunity.

In boss fights I was rangin from 1-3 depending on fight, all of us being within 1% of each other.

I wouldnt say this is my favorite spec so far, but I think it can be very effective, even if it's basically IT spam.
