Game is very similar to WoW, so far it's been a blast to play (it doesnt feel like a free game at all)
Races include Elves with fairy wings, Humans and gnome-sized dog-people called Gibberlings which come in 3's on the league side

Imperials have humans, orcs and undead-cyborgs called Arisen.

I figure it's important to note that somewhere around level 23, questing zones become PvP oriented. Essentially assume the rules of a pvp server.

After playing for awhile as an imperial I rerolled a Gibberling warrior and am enjoying the league's scenery *so* much more than the urban imperial questing zones, so if you're interested in hanging out with me and amy and potentially a few other here's the info:

I'm pretty impressed.  I've only played for like 30 minutes but the graphics are nice, game play(so far) is smooth, a lot of information on the forums,  and much easier to play than limit RO, lol.  I have a psionicist named Paisely on Nezeb-Alliance.  Can't wait to see how the group play is.

We actually found a guild full of people that pretty much all play WoW as their main game, they gave everyone invite privs so the guild expands, we can get anyone in who starts playing.  Their forums are deathjesters.org  We're all on Nezeb league as well.

And yeah, I'm very impressed with this as a free MMO, it's really awesome so far in like every aspect.

My character is a melee priest.  Yeah, a melee priest.  I fucking love it!  You do immense damage with 2h staves, and each hit gives you a stack of a buff that decreases the cast time on your spell nuke.  So it's kind of like rogues with combo points almost, whack, whack whack, nuke, repeat.

So, holy fucking jesus.  Just read up on the Astral Ship part of Allods.

Basically, it's kind of like Eve in that you spend a huge amount of time and resources building your very own ship, and you need to have crew members that you trust enough to help you man the ship.  6 I think.  There are also cannons to be manned since it's all PvP in the Astral.

Call me crazy, but I just took another look at the pictures of the screenshots Khymn and Amy posted.  Does it strike anyone else odd that the floor and wall artwork looks like it was screenshotted in WoW?  I'm actually quite struck at how close in design and concept the floor and wall artwork is to WoW's.  Anyway, just an observation.
