Hi everyone, new to the forums to! This is my first post.

The build im using right now is: Current Frost Spec

Post patch 3.1 I will probably go something like this: Post-patch 3.1 Spec

Quite frankly, I don't see why you would wanna go that high in unholy, without going all the way to unholy blight. AoE-threat won't really be a problem anyway with howling blast.

With ptr-patch notes, Outbreak wont be worth 3 points, since its only buffing plague strike. Diseases will last for 15 seconds post-patch to, I think that will be more than enough. so take those points and spend them on lowering cooldown for death and decay instead.

I've also read over on MMO-champion that the glyph of pestilence will be reworked so that it will also renew diseases on current targets.

Blade Barrier in the blood tree I would say is a must to, 10% parry is a whole lot of avoidance. And I think that Bladed armor and two-handed weapon spec. will add more TPS than outbreak, ravenous dead and master of ghouls.

I personally only use the ghoul for death pact in tough situations. Right now, it gives more stamina though, which is nice, but I really like those three blood-talents.

Well that's how I like to tank as frost anyway. I don't think you will have much problem tanking in your specc with decent gear. But you really should consider moving five points into blade barrier and lowering the cooldown on D&D

Do you still think Blade Barrier is worth it with the change to how it works?  5% dmg reduction as opposed to 10% parry.

With BB reduced in efficiency, would I be better off with the 3% Str from Ravenous Dead as opposed to taking BB to get to Bladed Armor?

10% across the board damage reduction is nice....Note it counts on magic damage as well where parry was simple melee.  I actually prefer the new blade barrier because of that.

Stan,

I might move that point in Deathchill.  Lichborne is a nice fear break and I actually like hungering cold.

But...isnt it only 5% dmg reduction?
