easiest example
Currently 1 primo = 23 frosts.
after patch, 1 primo = 266 "points"
1 frost = 2.75 points, so 23 frosts = 63.25 points
so what you can buy before the patch for 23 frosts costs you more like 92 frosts post patch.
EDIT!
Note that if you turn your 23 frosts into 23 conquests before the patch hits, they'll turn into 126.5 gold, so your *PROBABLY* better off making them into saronite assuming it holds at current price.

Here's how I would look at the situation. If you need gear for leveling aka t10 buy it now. If you want to save said points for whatever gear they purchase at level 85 save the tokens for now.
Since my gear set is complete I will not be converting to saronite as that ship has sailed and this will give me a good leg up on points in Cata.

Revitalize now causes you to grant Replenishment when you cast or Refresh Lifebloom - Replenishment - Grants up to 10 party or raid members mana regeneration equal to 1% of the maximum mana per 10 sec. Lasts for 15 sec.
If resto druids brought replenishment in WLK, 10mans would have been *so* much easier to form... However... Replenishment is such a bad idea. They have 6 classes now that can bring it - why not just roll it into the natural mana regeneration scheme for each class? There exists, literally, only 1 mana-based class now (shamans) that can't bring replenishment.
So stupid.

When I say pug too I mainly mean like say we had 24 people and knew someone out of PC that was good enough to help and invited him/her to the raid would we forfeit it.
