I would suggest getting another Samsung or an LG. I had a 22inch Samsung for almost 3 years and none of the pixels burnt out, no fading, nothing. I just bought a 27inch LG about 6 months ago and I LOVE it! A little pricey but so far it has been worth it.

Samsung make *great* flat panel LCD monitors.  I've has many over the years and have yet to be disappointed.  If you are a looking for a quality and slightly cheaper monitor on a budget, I'd also highly recommend Acer.  They've made some great LCD monitors recently as well.

No matter what you buy, something like 70% of the monitors out there are just rebadged Samsung screens. The integration electronics always differ, but it's all the same on the display. With that in mind, I always buy Samsung - I just assume they know how to program their own boards the best. *shrug*

(Hint: Anything from Dell is a Samsung in disguise)

Get a HDTV LCD. Price are reasonable.

You could look at Bestbuy on the HDTV LCD. 40-42inch $499.
