Okay, well, DW seems to be far since dead. Unfortunately I don't like giving up on things I like, such as DW. So I was running around and came across a DW Spec, have no idea what it does or how it does and I was wondering if anyone had any possible information on it. Well, there's actually two.

One being an unholy build

Has everyone basically just given up on DW.. or does anyone out there have any info on this

i've seen a DK posting on the general forums who was DWing using the unholy spec I believe. He pulled 5300dps on ignis, which compared well with the rest of his guild.

Yeah, I have free time and I'm interested in trying these but I haven't a clue on where to start with rotations and such. Need to do some more digging.

I've essentially been using the unholy build you posted and its been doing pretty good, though I'm still fine tuning the rotation and finding that I've got to really adjust to different situations and change up the rotation on the fly.

I have my action bars set up much like the 2h unholy build discussed on the front page

PS>IT>SS>BBx2>DC/UB>SSx2/3>PEST>BB (rinse and repeat the key is to always make sure your diseases are up. Also I will sneak in a Ghoul Frenzy if my diseases are looking good instead of PS)

I use BB instead of BS not sure if its a gear thing but I've found BB to do a bit more damage.

I´m running this specc für 10 days now and it works very well. Only difference is that I left out UB and 1 point in Desecration to max out Morbidity. I already own the new DC/FS-Sigil and beating dummies showed better numbers with DC>UB.
Currently our raid is running 3 DKs (+1 Tank DK) -the other 2 are 0/10/61- and our damageoutput seems very similar which means @ one try I´m leading and the next try the other one´s on top.

Rotation starts like any other unholy build:
PS-IT-SS-BS-BS
after that it´s just a priority-system:
diseases (watch your glyph proccs)>SS>DC>BS

Runes are FC/FC and using SS would prefer a slow/fast setup. 4 pieces of T7/7,5 help a lot. I don´t want to make a forecast on the upcoming nerf to the T7-bonus, but atm I´m having some free seconds based on rune cooldowns to close RP-gaps by using HoW.

If you use an unholy-specc as posted above, you don´t produce deathrunes by using BB. And what´s that pestilence for? Do you use SS without the glyph?

The simplest answer is well I'm still learning all the intricacies of the DK and that BB/BS differance was a HUGE glaring oversight oooops....does this mean i need to turn in my membership card? lol. Seriously thanks for pointing it out I shall fix my rotation once the servers are up .

Yes I do have the SS glyph but its still only a 25% chance correect? So thats why i put the Pest there with the glyph of Disease to refresh my diseases. Probably another oversight any ideas on something else that would work better?

I´d suggest you change your glyps to: Ghoul/SS/Dark Death. Yes, glyph of ss may only have a 25%-chance to procc, but thanks to deathrunes you´ll get out 4-5 SS before your diseases would drop without the glyph. The chance to refresh your diseases is kinda high.
Give it a try and visit any testdummy. SS-Glyph almost makes this a SS/DC-spam-build.

I went with Glyph of the Ghoul and ran a few Heroics, ended up doing 3.1K+ on the bosses. Which being that I'm still working with 10 man and heroic gear lvl stuff I'm happy with those numbers... I'm eager to see how it does in 10/25 content.

A very correct statement with those beautiful death runes I was tapping 4-5 SS, hitting DC/gargoyle if it was up, then back to SS or BS when I needed runes then back to SS/DC

Still running 0/13/58 'relativ' succesfully. Top 3 in every fight in Ulduar so far. One of our UnholyDKs switched to blood, has been lucky with ArP drops and is getting harder to beat on some fights now.

I just got the 2pc bonus of Tier8 and will try 0/17/54 DC spam again in the next days. These 8% Crit should push it a bit.

tbh I played IT6 for our Hodir firstkill on sunday because the stormcloud buff is just perfect for this build and our raid just needed every single dps (killed him 5secs after enrage, phew).

Yes, slow/fast is best, but you´re better off with FC/FC.
Although yout putting out a lot of IT which profit from RI, your uptime of FC will go down significant when DWing with just one enchant.
It´s better to push all your abilities with ~75-80% uptime of FC than just give a bonus to IT.

Razorscale, Ignis and XT were done DWing, the others were done with 2h unholy. I dont know if it's just my awful weapons, new to rotation or what but DW was definately not close enough for me to spend much time working on it in-raid. Hoping to end up with some better weapons soon and give it another test.

ya i kinda missed DW too but now that my guild is one shotting hardmode xt i can get a nice 2her but im starting to collect 2 1hers for 3.2 when they "revive dw"...
