yeah you can bet if they successfully bring it up in DPS I'll be switching back to it. I was really disappointed to see my numbers loss, was hoping it'd work out better.

Have there been any trials lately with frost DW and the new FS Sigil? An IT6/FS rotation for 2h is looking competitive with other builds, is that something that could work with DW again? I did a simple dw test using S/S weaps in a 0/10/61 build with ~200dps lower then 2h. So it doesn't look horrible on my end but 200 dps on a dummy could be much more in raid.

FS hits very hard with 2h and Sigil, wonder if DW+ghoul could make up for dps loss on FS from 1h. I'll see what the FS numbers are 2h vs 1h.

Its good to see promising DW numbers again and hopefully they kick that up in an upcoming build.

just to reference this is last weeks Ignis kill using 2h unholy. the difference in fight this week was that I did not get slagged at all, and still did much much less while DW.

You ´re thinkin of something like this?
I don´t think this will work atm.
It´s not just DW+ghoul vs. FS´ lower dmg. With a build like this you´re not able to get Rage of Rivendare or Tundra Stalker, Boneshield, EP (your BCB will hit for less with just 2 diseases) WP or Desecration and all that will be a big cut to your dps. You could take another point from Dirge to get GoG 3/3, but that will leave you with less RP for your FS.
With IT6 your FS does about 45-48% of the overall dmg and that alone should mark it as a pure 2h build.

I was playing around with a new PvP build today and MMO champion has ToT up on its Talent Calculator as a 35 point talent.  I didn't think the PTR is up yet, so not sure how they got that info.

They get info from datamining stuff. (Pulling info from the client itself.) It's nothing official until the PTR servers are actually up though~
