MMO Champion is reporting a buff to wild growth and symbiosis as well as a slight nerf to ToL.  I can live with that.

- Natural Shapeshifter now increases the duration of Tree of Life Form by 3/6 sec, down from 5/10 sec.
- Tree of Life now lasts 25 sec, down from 30 sec.
- Wild Growth now has a 8 sec cooldown, down from 10 sec. Base healing value increased by 30%, from 2866 to 3722.
- Symbiosis now increases the potency of healing spells by 11.6% (Up from 10%) on target already affected by one of your HoT. Each point of Mastery now increases heal potency by an additional 1.45%, up from 1.25%.

My heads is already hurting trying to figure out all the new stuff with druids.

I like dropping WG to 8 Sec and the 5 Sec. Change on ToL won't hurt us.

To me it looks like Blizz is trying to make Mastery more viable for the Druid Healer. Assuming a 30% usage that would be appox 5% additional healing. Besides the fact they seem to be buffing our mastery numbers themselves, its going to be even more important to utilize Mastery, and a better case for Mastery>Haste past breakpoints.

If they really want us to use it they need to take away the hot requirement.

The rejuv change just hit (26% -> 16% base mana cost) and that means shit just got real.  Rejuv heals for a ton and is cheap.  Plus, with cata people don't get topped off very quickly, so it has a good chance of not over healing as much (and thus not wasting mana).  I definitely think this puts crit > mastery for 25m healing, as rejuv is going to be our biggest source of healing by a large margin.

My playstyle while tank healing has become weaving my normal tank heals (keep hots on tank, hit with nourish/HT) with WG and rejuv on the raid.  Since rejuv has a 1 sec gcd, it is fairly easy to work in.  I think this will be a good habit after the 4.0.6 patch since that will also reduce the cast time of nourish.

I am also thinking of changing my spec a bit.  I was thinking of dropping Furor and some (maybe all) of Efflorescence to pick up some throughput on rejuv (blessing of the grove and genesis).  I was also thinking of dropping Nature's Cure as that is a valuable talent point that I feel I rarely use and other healers can easily cover.

It's pretty funny that Efflorescence still costs 3 talent points.

It looks like they are pushing Rejuv back up to 20% of base mana.  I'm not entirely surprised, but hopefully it won't go any higher.  Having rejuv at 16% was too good to be true.  I am thinking they really want druid raid healing to be:
1) keep lb on tank
2) keep at least 3 rejuvs rolling around the raid
3) cast WG on cd
4) fill in with fast nourish,
and so they are trying to figure out a rejuv cost that will reinforce that rotation.  Not so low that you say `fuck nourish', but not so high as to immediately go oom.
