I've got no clue how the benchmarks will compare from my gtx570 to your 2xgtx280's, but i'm nonetheless very very pleased with my upgrade. Finally get to run wow at 2560x1600 with all details maxed (including 8xAA and Ultra Shadows) at a solid 60fps. Witcher 2 is also smooth as butter, and doesn't stutter anymore.

Just don't turn on the uber-sampling or whatever it is called still causes mine to tank a bit

my 2 280's got me 60fps in full raids at 1920x1200 on dual Dell 24inch lcd's I just know that in the near future I will be needing to upgrade to DX11 cards or card and might as well do it now.

been thinking about going with a gtx 560 maybe a 570

Risen from the grave... just ended up replacing my card with a gtx 560 ti since my old 4850 fried. Working really nicely thus far.
