For raiding resto druids there is a new cookie cutter spec on elitist jerks.  The main change is that efflorescence is no longer linked to living seed, meaning you can drop that crappy talent.  This is especially nice as it opens up enough talent points to comfortably take perseverance, which is incredibly helpful in heroic raids.  There are two non-resto talent points that can go into furor if mana is a problem and genesis otherwise.  That leaves only 1 floater point which should probably go into blessing of the grove to help with rejuv spam, or you can take nature's cure so your random heroic dungeon pug doesn't yell at you for not dispelling.

That's very good news indeed.  I've been actively trying to make my Resto Druid (Night Elf) better by gearing up in raids and learning the ins and outs about how its Mastery works to chain HoTs for bigger overall heals.  I'm glad Efflorescense is no longer linked to Seed.

Awesome Gordone.  Yeah, the unfortunate fact is that mastery, despite being shit wrapped in shit, is better than haste (after haste break points), crit, and spirit (once mana is ok).  Our work on P2 Nefarian has made mastery especially attractive as you can hot up an entire platform.

Living seed was a balls talent and there was no reason it should have been linked to efflorescence.  Glad they fixed that.

No doubt...and having 6% reduction to all that crazy burst and DoT elemental crap is going to bring our personal panic levels down as well, lol.  I can tell you that my heart jumped up into my throat in Phase 2 on my 10 man Nef kill last week after a Crackle...cuz almost every attempt before that, I was at around 80% HP and that thing brought my ass to 0...so frustrating.  I just started incorporating Genesis into his spec and dealing without the extra 10% mana hasn't been too big an issue yet, as I've been able to heal successful H Halfus and H Chimaeron with some friends in 10 man.
