Jose Reyes is the only Met to ever win the batting title, and I'm ok with that. The only level that I disagree with his decision were the people who went down to Citi field that day went down for the sole purpose of seeing him put on a Mets jersey for realistically the last time. Since it was a 1:10 start Im sure some of the people who went down to see him didnt get there in time to, cause there are people who show up late to ballgames (I personally dont understand this but they do it)

From a competitor's standpoint I understand his decision, realistically he probably woulda been taken out after 1-2 more at bats anyway so he could get a cheer for one last time. If Jose had gone 0-4 (Like Braun did later that night), the brewers probably woulda sat braun, cause why would you want yer all star to get hurt on a meaningless game when you got the playoffs.

TL:DR THE METS WON SOMETHING. FUCK YOU ALL.
