Hey guys! With the newly released Minecraft 1.0, there has been interest shown in a Plaguechill server. Kane over at Godcraft was kind enough to set up a private server for us on his massive hardware setup and allocate us some slots so we can all play together. The connection info is mc.godcraft.com:1331 - you need to be whitelisted to join, though. If you want to play, post here. Server map is here: http://mc.godcraft.com:8119/#This is more or less a vanilla server - we do have one server-side mod at the moment, Lockette. Mobs are all on, hunger and health are on, fall damage is on. For a good client download, head to http://www.mediafire.com/?s2vd5v2pe2346pq . We've built a little starting house just Southeast of spawn - if you come in and go upstairs there are beds to save at. We'll slowly civilize the area around spawn though as we collect materials.

Lots have built :3 Starting to look like a real town.
We have:
Nether Portal Wheat Farm Several houses Roads connecting Semi-protected and lit spawn area Enchanting station Ravine right under our spawn town Docks next to a massive bay ripe for exploring Community storage area Stables
Wind, Zero, Yoink, and some other people we know including mods from the curse site I run have been playing.

Kane's hoster kind of fucked him over and nuked the smaller servers, which included ours, unfortunately. Not many people logged in after the first week, so eh.
