I am forming a 2v2 team with some R/L friends of mine and we wanted to know ahead of time what DK abilities share a diminishing return with other class abilities.

My partners are a Balance Druid, a Retribution Paladin, and a Frost Mage.

I'm thinking Icy Chains and stuff would share diminished returns with entangling root and so on, but can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

What about hungering cold? does it share DR with a hunter frost trap for example?

I have no idea about that one, I never even specced into HC in any pvp spec of mine.

And thanks, Nev, for the info!

from the blog posted in http://plaguechill.com/plaguezone/index.php?topic=127.0, it seems that:

Hungering Cold is the real star here, however. It is basically a 10-second blind on a 60-second cooldown that shares DR with almost nothing else in the game because of the fact that it is considered a freeze effect. More importantly, it is not affected by stun/disorient duration reduction talents, nor can you Divine Purpose out of it. The synergy between this and other long CC effects such as repentance, blind, and hammer of justice is simply amazing if your team can coordinate such CC chains well without accidently breaking the Hungering Cold with splash damage.

I think a frost specced death knight teamed with a frost mage would be devestating as it's a freeze effect and therefore makes the mage able to shatter anyone trapped in them
