Hows the Totc coming for you guys i got the reg 10m verison down to about an hour clear, we also clear 25 this week and started a few ampts on 10m heroic. How are you guys faring with the heroic raid, dude gormok hits like a truck lol

Regular ToC cleared.  Heroic...ha ha ha ha....yeah well...umm.  Let's say that we knew upfront that it would be ugly so we tried a few pulls to sort things and then went back to finish up some Ulduar things last night.

Right now we have the place full cleared on normal in both 10 and 25, and we have 2 groups that have cleared to Anub in HM 10.  We haven't had a ton of time to work on him yet so hopefully we'll get him soonish. 

In 25 HM, working on the beasts atm.

well i think the beast just got alot easier this week nerfing gormak and the yeti so i think we should get up to anub this week in 10m HM how is the faction champ fight on HM, and come to think of it with the buff to Jax i wonder how hard he will be because before i heard he was pretty easy compared to N beasts.

oh we had like 10 ampts on 10m HM beast worms were by far the easiest part for us actually there was a ampt where britt died right as we killed gormok and fatal single tanked the 2 worms on his pally lol and then tank dread and ice howl by his self lol

towards the end the last 3 or 4 ampts we got to the p3 of beast everytime but for some reason we have a few melee, me not being one of them always die to the worms some how and then we couldn't beat the icehowl enrage timer.

There is beginning to be a noticeable difference in Pali's vs. every other tank class.  Our pali tank does not die on 25 man hard modes, yet the warrior and I (mostly me) are liable to just get wtfpwnd even though I sport a higher amount of 245 than the paladin.  I would gripe to blizzard but know I would just get laughed at at this point because DK's were on top for so long.

Not at all surprised to hear it, sadly. The nerfs just kept rolling. They'll swing the pendulum back eventually. I only get asked to offtank on occasion, but my gear is pretty good, so I don't usually experience any problems with that role. I have noticed, however, that my buffed health is considerably lower than similarly geared tanks of other flavors and my defensive cooldowns don't seem to do much any more.

As far as HToTC goes, Beasts was a fun challenge, probably the hardest of the fights imo. Faction champs had it's moments, and strangely enough we had some trouble on the Twin's shields, probably because our best dps was spread between two 10-mans and after our top 5 or 6, we have some weaker players.... hoping to get past Beasts on 25 man tonight because we don't raid again until Sun.

Interestingly, I went back to Frost Tank because of its ability to take larger more constant hits.  It does better than blood in ToC at the moment.  Blizz would throw DK's a curveball like that.  Check it out if you fellow DK's are getting ripped in the 25-man Hard Mode

our 25's are tanked by 2 pallys and a warrior and our 10m HM is tanked by a pally warrior combo, on a side note we have two fairly geared Dk tanks that find them self dps quite a bit since the nerfs

Well, I've MT'd regular TOC 10 without problems in my offspec, as blood, so it's not too bad. The incoming changes honestly should help, with 3% more passive mitigation, and most of our cd's should be 'planned usage,' with a few saved for reactive situations, making the slightly lower health pools and mitigation matter less overall.

Look at us, sounding more like tankspot than a DW-dps EJ forum.

Yes, blood was going just fine through normal 10 and 25 and if that's what you are focused on no reason to switch.  It's the Bleed effects and massive spike damage that was really hurting in the hardmodes.  We definitely need our tank buff.
